I’m Marissa, a bridal hairstylist for over 7 years who’s mission is to help other bridal hairstylists like yourself feel CONFIDENT in your updos!

You might see my work now but know it wasn’t always pretty. Starting out I had NO CLUE how to section the hair, what the HECK to do with those front pieces after creating my bun or why my styles always looked crazy frizzy. My glam waves were a hot mess express that would always fall apart & fall flat in the front.

TBH I used to say I loved boho looks because I thought that meant it was okay to have frizz & pieces falling out in the hairstyle since boho is more ‘natural, undone’ even though I CRAVED wanting to be an elegant, polished bridal stylist.

By helping OVER 90+ other wedding stylists get that polished texture & understand WHY they were doing what they were doing they too can confidently dominate their wedding season!

WHAT IT IS:

  • 1:1 lessons are catered to you! I’ll have you fill out a questionnaire so we can make the most of our time together! We’ll be able to cover 2-3 in depth demos & you’ll work alongside me to recreate the styles! Class is demo + hands!

LOCATION + DURATION:

  • 1:1 lessons & small group classes are held at my studio, 7126 Hamilton Way, Eastampton, NJ 08068

  • Classes are 6 hours, 10A-4P

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Your hair kit (will be provided with hair tools/products needed)

  • A hair model for the hands on portion, one is okay 2 is preferred.

INVESTMENT:

  • $990, bookings are made with a signed contract + 50% nonrefundable deposit

WHAT IT IS:

  • Hair class in my studio for small groups of stylists that either work on a team or in a salon wanting to perfect their bridal hairstyles! We’ll be able to cover 1-2 in depth hair looks of your choice. Class is demo + hands on at the end of the class for all stylists!

MINIMUM STYLISTS:

  • Small group classes require 3 total stylists minimum. Maximum is 10 total stylists.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Your hair kit (will be provided with hair tools/products needed)

  • A hair model for the hands on portion

INVESTMENT:

  • Booking minimum is $2200 (3 total stylists) for larger groups inquire for rates. bookings are made with a signed contract + 50% nonrefundable deposit

✔️ 4 core updo principles: Sectioning, Pinning, Balance, Volume so you can do ANY updo

✔️ 4 core wave principles: Tool, Curl technique, Shaping, Product to apply to ANY wave

✔️ Roadmaps for the styles you chose to cover: from consult -> prep -> sectioning -> styling -> face framing

My repeatable process for each style you see on my Instagram so you can take that roadmap & apply it for all your clients.

1:1 class details:

WHEN: Thursday’s, Friday’s & Sunday’s

WHERE: my studio located at 7126 Hamilton Way, Eastampton, NJ 08068.

HOW LONG: Timing is 10A-4P, 6HRS

MUST HAVE: Must bring your own live model (for the best portfolio pics) & your hair kit

CLASS BREAKDOWN: I’ll do 2-3 full demo hairstyles of your choice. You’ll work alongside me as I prep the hair & style during the demo. You’ll then recreate the styles with guidance from me, using my products & tools! I’ll walk you through how I take Instagram photos of your hair style. You can ask me any questions about business, social media & hair throughout the day! You’ll leave with confidence to take on your wedding season.

INVESTMENT: 990

All lessons are demo & hands on & require you to bring a model. This means you will be able to recreate one of the hair looks as well as get portfolio photos.

Light snacks are provided for class

All lessons are only reserved with a 50% deposit/agreement

Lessons are only booked during Dec-April. When inquiring I will give you my next availability within 4-6 weeks.

  • For 1:1 classes we’ll have time to go over 2 full in depth hairstyles. Possibly 3 demo styles if we have the time!

  • All classes are held at my studio, 7126 Hamilton Way, Eastampton, NJ 08060.

  • All 1-1 lessons are not officially reserved without a deposit to hold your class. Your deposit is 50% down which is deducted from your final balance. Payments accepted are debit/credit card with bookings.

  • Classes are held on Thursday’s, Friday’s & Sunday’s at my studio located in Eastampton, NJ.

  • Models are required for your lesson, 2 is preferred, 1 is okay! I want to give you the most realistic class as possible, with mannequins you’re not able to get a real client experience. With a model you also get to have the chance to take amazing photos to add to your portfolio from the class! I’ve never had a stylist unable to fin a model for classes. Past students have found paid models on Instagram searching hashtags like #phillymodels #southjerseymodels #philadelphiamodel or friends/family.

  • Yes! Small group lessons are different than 1-1 individual attention. They’re recommended for salons, bridal teams who are looking to refresh on trends for the year or train up newer stylists. When inquiring request ‘small group’ class & please put how many stylists will be attending, there is a 5 person minimum & a 10 person maximum for small groups.

  • Unfortunately no. Many stylists have traveled out of state for classes & brought their own models. To best help if you’d like to hire a model for your class I recommend searching hashtags & model agencies on Instagram & direct messaging models for your class. Local model agencies are Vie Agency & Reinhard Agency. Local hashtags for models are #phillymodels, #philadelphiamodels, #southjerseymodels, #njmodels
